A Bridgwater Walkabout – Meet at the Blake statue, The Cornhill, Bridgwater, at 10.30 a.m. This will be a conducted tour by a member of the local society.

Friday 23 May

Church and earthwork site – Meet at Mudford Church at 6 p.m. Members are advised to bring Wellingtons or similar if the conditions look at all like being moist and soggy!

Satuday 7 June

All-day coach trip to Guildford. Details to be circulated later, but starting time will be 8 a.m. from the old Town Station car park.

A Tour of Dorset Churches – Meet at The Square, Beaminster at 2.30 p.m. Saturday 9 August
Conducted tour of Sherborne Abbey and town – meet at the Abbey at 10.30 a.m.

Halstock excavations – Date and time of meeting on the site will be announced later, to coincide with excavation work in progress.

Saturday 6 September

Archaeology, History, and Natural History of the Somerset Levels – Meet at Weston Zoyland Church at 2.30 p.m.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on Friday 3 October at Yeovil Reference Library, at 7.30 p.m. sharp. Speaker to be announced in due course.
