Chronicle 2010 Quiz
Mystery Object 1: This is an ox horn knob or protector. They were screwed onto the tips of the inside horns of paired draft oxen, to prevent them accidentally goring each other.
Mystery Object 2: Either a milliner or hatter would have placed this inside the brim of a hat to stretch it to fit.
Answer for Object 3: We are really not sure about it, but this may have been used for making boiled sweets or pulling toffee or it may be a wash tub (boiler) stick for retrieving your washing. Alternatively it could have been for something else entirely.
