Just a reminder – Our last Summer Event – (Members Only)

September 5th – Tuesday – Visit Brympton d’Evercy House, Odcombe, Yeovil, BA22 8TD
Visit commences at 2.00 pm – Guided tour £10 per head – tour lasts approx 1 hour. Afterwards we can look around Brympton Parish Church with Dr Francis Burroughes and later wander around the Brympton House gardens. 

Have a Cream Tea at Brympton House
Members requiring a cream tea should let Jim Fison know by email or phone message on Yeo: 477174, by next Saturday Morning (the 2nd).  A bulk order can then be placed with Brympton House – the £5/head charge will be collected during the visit.

YALHS talks start at 7:30 pm (prompt), on the 1st Friday of the month, Oct – May.

We also organise regular visits to archaeological digs and historical sites during the summer months.

Fri 6th Apr – Lidar – The Imaging of a Hidden Landscape
Speaker – Bryan Moore – Master of Science in Applied Landscape Archaeology

Fri 4th May – AGM followed by a talk – Brewing in Weymouth – (Non-members – free entrance!) – bring a friend
Speaker – Dr David Riches – Director at Weymouth Museum Trust and Collection Manager at Weymouth Museum.


Talks are held at Holy Trinity Church and Community Centre, Lysander Rd, Yeovil, BA20 2BU (Non-members Welcome – £2 at the door)

Membership:
Individuals £10; Couples £15; Family £18; Juniors/Students £2.
