June 23rd Thursday – Visit West Coker Ropeworks, BA22 9AU
Led by Ross Aitken: Visit commences at 6.30 pm – Donation £3 per head. Website:

July 14th Thursday – Crewkerne Walkabout
Led by Richard Simms: Walk commences a 6.30 pm – meet at Crewkerne Museum, Market Street, TA18 7JU – cost per head £2. The tour is expected to last one and half hours, viewing mainly the industrial heritage of the town.

August 13th Saturday – Visit Down Farm Museum, SP5 5RY
Led by Martin Green: Visit commences at 11.00 am – we will be breaking for lunch at a pub and the visit does involve some walking over fields.

Directions: Location: Down Farm, near Wimborne St Giles, Dorset, grid reference ST 999 149 . Turn off the A354 signposted Wimborne St Giles. Continue a short distance along this road. Take the tarmac lane on the right (signposted ‘Down Farm’). The farm is past the cottages on the right hand side. Also take a look at this website

September 2nd Friday – Visit St John’s Church to see the refurbished bells.
Led by Roger Fox: Visit commences at 6.30 pm – meet at the West End Tower Door – cost £2 per head

Winter Talks are held at Holy Trinity Church and Community Centre, Lysander Rd, Yeovil, BA20 2BU. Members free, Non-members £2
Annual Membership (renewed annually on 1st of January): Single £10; Couples £15; Family £18; Juniors/Students £2.
